BIM Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
The BIM Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing detailed electrical BIM models for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, standards, and multidisciplinary coordination requirements. This includes modeling power distribution systems, lighting, low-current systems, and associated electrical components. The role involves preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built documentation, as well as identifying and resolving clashes and design issues through effective coordination with other disciplines. The engineer will work closely with project managers, design engineers, and BIM coordinators to support accurate scheduling, quantity take-offs, and construction deliverables. Maintaining data integrity across LOD 100 to LOD 500 models is essential. This full-time position is based on-site in Lahore and requires regular collaboration with both local and international teams, adhering to established workflows and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate strong BIM and CAD skills, with proficiency in Revit (MEP/Electrical), AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar coordination software. A solid foundation in electrical engineering is essential, including knowledge of power distribution, lighting design, low-current systems, and familiarity with relevant international and local electrical codes and standards. Experience in project coordination is required, encompassing multidisciplinary clash detection, model review, documentation control, and effective collaboration with design and construction teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical, with attention to detail and the capacity to interpret complex drawings and propose practical design and coordination solutions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary, including clear written and verbal communication, the ability to work within diverse, cross-border teams, and a willingness to receive feedback and pursue continuous improvement.
