Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join its Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers and related equipment within the Boiler Plant. This role plays a critical part in ensuring uninterrupted and reliable service to the hospital by maintaining optimal boiler performance and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate boilers and associated equipment effectively, efficiently, and safely, continuously monitoring boiler parameters, equipment performance, and overall plant conditions to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation.
- Maintain accurate shift logbooks by recording operating parameters and communicating plant status and any pending issues to the incoming shift for seamless handover.
- Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure trouble-free boiler operation.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers regarding the operation and maintenance requirements of plant room equipment to optimize performance and address technical challenges.
- Strictly follow safety standards, rules, and regulations during boiler operation, proactively identifying and eliminating potential hazards while implementing the Plant Safety Program.
- Manage the consumption of water, fuel, gas, and chemicals to maintain energy efficiency and ensure effective chemical treatment of the boiler system.

Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of safety requirements and operational procedures related to boiler systems.
- Familiarity with electrical controls associated with boilers and their accessories, enabling effective troubleshooting and maintenance.
