Bookkeeper

Sidreau is a bookkeeping service provider supporting accounting firms and businesses across the UK and Europe with month-end close processes. We are expanding our team and seeking our first part-time remote bookkeeper based in Pakistan to grow alongside the company. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with international clients while developing your expertise in cloud accounting platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank and card reconciliations, transaction coding, and manage sales and purchase ledgers.
- Handle month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and journal entries.
- Prepare management accounts and VAT workpapers accurately and on time.
- Work within clients’ accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage, adhering to fixed monthly deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com), ACCA part-qualified, CA Intermediate, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of two years of practical bookkeeping experience, preferably with clients based in the UK or Europe.
- Proficiency and confidence in using Xero and/or QuickBooks Online accounting software.
- Strong written English communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
