We are looking for an experienced and visionary Headmistress to lead our school, fostering academic excellence and a strong culture of teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the school meets high standards in line with the Cambridge curriculum. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing both academic and administrative functions while promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school.
- Ensure high standards of academic excellence in accordance with Cambridge curriculum requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Monitor curriculum implementation, lesson planning, assessments, and student progress to maintain quality education.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that supports all learners.
- Develop and implement academic and school improvement plans to drive continuous development.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with parents and other stakeholders.
- Ensure effective implementation of school policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
- Oversee day-to-day school operations, maintaining discipline and professionalism.
- Represent the school professionally in academic and community forums.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field; M.Ed. or B.Ed. preferred.
- 8–10+ years of experience in education, with significant leadership or management experience.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum, assessment methods, and academic standards.
- Proven leadership, team management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Passionate about the development of students, teachers, and the school community.
