PakWheels is seeking a capable and proactive Branch Manager to lead our Car Oil Change and Vehicle Inspection Service Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, overseeing inventory, and guiding a team of technicians and support staff. A solid understanding of automotive maintenance—particularly oil change services, vehicle inspections, lubricants, filters, and OEM guidelines—is crucial to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the service center efficiently.
- Ensure that all services, including oil changes, vehicle inspections, and customer interactions, comply with company SOPs and quality standards.
- Supervise inventory management of oils, filters, and consumables; monitor usage and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Provide product and service recommendations tailored to vehicle condition and OEM specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, ensure equipment is functional, and uphold overall operational readiness.
- Track key performance indicators such as service metrics, team productivity, and branch sales.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on operations and performance.
- Oversee accurate billing processes, secure cash and card transactions, and ensure proper reconciliation at the end of each day.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff, covering both technical skills and customer service.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to support ongoing staffing needs for the service center.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of practical experience in automotive service operations, oil change facilities, or multi-service car care centers.
- Proven leadership experience in managing service teams, meeting sales and service targets, and handling customer-facing operations.
- Strong knowledge of automotive lubricants, filters, vehicle maintenance, health checks, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with car wash equipment and detailing processes is an advantage.
- Experience in team management and staff training.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management and operational reporting.
- Comfortable working with POS systems and performing basic financial reconciliations.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
