Business Accountant

FinHarvest Inc., a client-focused financial services firm based in Lahore, specializes in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Financial Statements, and Taxation. The company is committed to delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant financial solutions tailored to support clients' long-term objectives. They are currently seeking a Business Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to optimize processes and maintain thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Accurately prepare and reconcile Payroll on a timely basis.
- Maintain and update general ledger entries to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare monthly and annual Financial Statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support Taxation functions and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to assist management in decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve inquiries and improve accounting workflows.
- Maintain clear, organized documentation for all financial transactions and activities.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll processing, and general ledger accounting.
- Proven experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, as well as supporting Taxation and compliance efforts.
- Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and standard business productivity tools.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, local financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- O/A Levels qualification in Accounting or Business is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA are considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in a business or corporate accounting role, ideally within financial services or a client-focused environment.
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software (minimum one year) is preferred.
- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lahore.
- Competitive monthly salary range from Rs60,000 to Rs100,000.
