We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst specializing in AI and Agentic Solutions to serve as a vital link between clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and technical experts. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional business analysis combined with a practical understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-enabled products. The successful candidate will analyze client business challenges, assess current processes, and identify opportunities where AI technologies can add value. They will translate these insights into clear product and solution requirements, collaborating closely with engineering teams to integrate AI models, APIs, platforms, and automation tools. While coding is not part of the role, a solid technical grasp of AI concepts is essential to engage effectively with AI engineers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering: Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, pain points, and constraints. Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops to gather and validate requirements. Develop comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Identify and resolve gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, and risks while maintaining requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Product & Solution Analysis: Evaluate requirements for user experience, business value, feasibility, and scalability. Translate business ideas into structured features, workflows, and user journeys. Collaborate with product, UI/UX, AI, engineering, and QA teams to create actionable development tasks. Maintain product backlogs and prioritize based on value and impact. Represent the client and end-user perspective during design and implementation phases, participating actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, UAT, and release planning.
- AI & Agentic AI Analysis: Identify opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), conversational AI, and intelligent automation. Apply knowledge of large language models, multimodal models, embeddings, vector databases, agents, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Translate business processes into agentic workflows covering triggers, decisions, roles, tools, approvals, and exception handling. Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to ensure implementable workflows. Assess AI risks including hallucinations, privacy, accuracy, explainability, security, latency, cost, and reliability.
- AI Technology & Solution Research: Independently research AI models, APIs, platforms, open-source solutions, automation tools, and agentic frameworks. Evaluate existing APIs, SaaS, and open-source models before recommending custom development. Compare options on capabilities, licensing, pricing, integration complexity, scalability, privacy, and vendor dependency. Explore low-code/no-code orchestration tools and conduct hands-on experimentation to understand AI tool capabilities.
- Documentation & Solution Communication: Produce clear, structured, client-ready documentation including process diagrams, workflow charts, user journeys, use cases, and agentic workflow diagrams. Document AI use cases, system interactions, integrations, expected behaviors, and exceptions. Prepare solution concept documents, gap analyses, research reports, and presentations. Communicate technical concepts in business-friendly language and maintain version-controlled documentation.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the liaison among clients, stakeholders, product, AI, development, QA, and project management teams. Lead or participate in client meetings to present requirements, workflows, and solution concepts. Manage clarifications, document decisions, and align expectations. Support client demos, UAT, feedback collection, and solution acceptance.
- Quality & Acceptance: Define measurable acceptance criteria for AI-enabled and conventional features. Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements. Define evaluation scenarios for conversational AI and agentic workflows. Participate in UAT to validate delivery against documented requirements.
Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, and requirements management.
- Excellent skills in preparing BRDs, FRDs/SRS, user stories, use cases, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Ability to understand overall product vision, user journeys, business objectives, and future evolution.
- Proficiency with process and product modeling tools such as Draw.io, Microsoft Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, or Figma.
- Solid practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, conversational AI, prompt engineering, knowledge bases, and AI-enabled automation.
- Capability to independently research and compare AI models, APIs, SaaS platforms, open-source technologies, and automation tools.
- Good conceptual understanding of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, databases, authentication, and data flows (coding not required).
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize findings and make structured recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing client relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams including product, engineering, QA, and design.
- User-centric mindset with the ability to advocate for client and end-user needs throughout solution design.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and tools like JIRA or ClickUp.
- Attention to detail in maintaining documentation, decision logs, change history, and traceability.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-evolving AI landscapes and shifting client priorities.
