Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves working throughout the software development lifecycle to optimize processes, support Agile practices, and validate solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements effectively.
- Partner with the product team to translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Develop business process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, and system documentation to support project understanding.
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support solution design by evaluating business needs and recommending practical, scalable solutions.
- Assist Agile teams with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
- Validate delivered solutions to ensure they meet business objectives and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct impact analysis for proposed business or system changes and support change management initiatives.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and validating requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring requirements remain current throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Support additional business analysis and project-related activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven experience working on software development or digital transformation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Extensive experience in business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Proficient in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Knowledgeable in business process modeling techniques and workflow documentation.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies alongside software development teams.
- Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of UML or other business modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Background in process improvement, business transformation, or digital product development.
