Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst who can effectively understand and analyze business challenges, gather precise requirements, and collaborate closely with technical teams to translate those requirements into practical and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze requirements from clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs.
- Understand existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose actionable improvements.
- Translate requirements into user stories, use cases, and clear functional specifications that guide the development team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and provide clarification on requirements whenever necessary.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and other supporting documentation to aid understanding and implementation.
- Participate actively in client meetings, requirement discussions, product demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track changes in requirements and maintain alignment among all stakeholders.
- Support the team by resolving functional queries and removing blockers related to requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a software or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather and articulate requirements effectively.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Microsoft Clarity, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with process mapping and diagramming tools like Miro, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
- Strong documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
- A technical mindset with a willingness to understand software product functionalities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Smartsheet is considered an advantage.
- The position is based in DHA Phase 3, Lahore.
- Working hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM, accommodating collaboration across different time zones or project needs.
