Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst who can effectively understand and analyze business challenges, gather clear and comprehensive requirements, and collaborate closely with technical teams to translate these requirements into practical, actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring that projects meet stakeholder expectations and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze requirements from clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs.
- Evaluate existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Translate requirements into well-defined user stories, use cases, and clear functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and provide clarifications on requirements as needed to avoid ambiguity.
- Develop process flows, wireframes, and supporting documentation to facilitate understanding and communication across teams.
- Participate actively in client meetings, requirement discussions, product demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
- Monitor and track changes in requirements, ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and aligned.
- Support the project team by resolving functional queries and removing requirement-related blockers promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a software or technology-driven environment.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to gather requirements effectively from diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Microsoft Clarity, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with process-mapping and visualization tools like Miro, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
- Exceptional documentation skills and keen attention to detail.
- A technical mindset with a willingness to understand the workings of software products.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Smartsheet is considered an advantage.
- The position is based in DHA Phase 3, Lahore.
- Working hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM, accommodating project and client needs.
