Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst who can effectively understand business challenges, gather precise requirements, and collaborate closely with technical teams to translate those requirements into practical and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology by analyzing processes, identifying improvements, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze requirements from clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Understand existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Convert gathered requirements into well-defined user stories, use cases, and functional specifications that guide development efforts.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development cycle to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Define clear acceptance criteria for deliverables and clarify any ambiguous requirements to avoid misunderstandings.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and other supporting documentation as needed to facilitate communication and understanding.
- Participate actively in client meetings, requirement discussions, product demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
- Track changes in requirements diligently and ensure all stakeholders remain aligned with the latest updates.
- Provide ongoing support to the team by addressing functional questions and resolving requirement-related blockers promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a software or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather and articulate requirements effectively.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business challenges and propose viable solutions.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Microsoft Clarity, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with process-mapping and visualization tools like Miro, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
- Strong documentation skills with keen attention to detail to maintain accuracy and completeness of requirements.
- A technical mindset with a willingness to understand software products and their underlying mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Smartsheet is considered an advantage and will be a plus for this role.
- The position is based in DHA Phase 3, Lahore.
- Working hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM, accommodating collaboration with various teams and clients.
