Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Retail and Supply Chain to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the implementation and ongoing support of retail business processes. This position requires a strong analytical mindset to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions. The role involves close collaboration with clients to ensure their needs are met through customized product modifications and thorough testing of retail modules. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting, identifying gaps, and proposing enhancements to improve business processes and system functionality. This is an in-person role offering a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate the implementation and support of retail business operations.
- Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and deliver appropriate system solutions.
- Lead workshops to gather and validate business requirements from clients.
- Map client business objectives and processes to develop necessary product modifications.
- Design, customize, configure, and test retail modules to meet client needs.
- Identify gaps and issues within processes or systems and develop effective workarounds.
- Serve as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software problems.
- Proactively recommend business process and system enhancements.
- Provide consulting services for both new implementations and ongoing support projects.
- Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
- Work independently and take initiative; mentor junior team members when required.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail consulting or relevant business environments, with hands-on involvement in retail business processes and applications.
- Expertise in one or more retail areas such as Planning, Retail Financials, Merchandising (including Rebates, Pricing, and Promotions), or Supply Chain.
- Proven ability to support all phases of retail implementation projects.
- Deep understanding of retail business processes and their integration with Selling, Buying, Stock, and Finance modules.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.
- Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
- Capability to provide strategic recommendations regarding future business and solution opportunities.
