The Business Development Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of business development data across internal platforms. This role supports the Business Development team by ensuring real-time data entry and updates, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, and upholding high standards of reporting and workflow continuity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accountable, and possesses a strong understanding of research operations and data entry protocols. Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret clinical trial protocols are essential to effectively manage data quality and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter and update data in Atom and Salesforce on the same day to maintain up-to-date tracking and reporting.
- Achieve and maintain a minimum of 90% data entry accuracy, adhering to strict data quality standards.
- Detect inconsistencies, gaps, and errors in data; correct them when possible or escalate issues to the appropriate teams.
- Review and interpret study documentation, including clinical trial protocols, as necessary.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve data issues, address workflow gaps, and correct reporting discrepancies.
- Monitor and safeguard data integrity across large-scale databases and business development tracking systems.
- Support team productivity by undertaking additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure data entry is consistent, clear, and aligned with departmental standards and processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of one year of experience in clinical research preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned tasks with a high level of responsibility.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand clinical trial protocols is preferred but training can be provided.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with clinical research and related data entry practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software including Excel (with Google Scripts), Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders including executives, managers, clinicians, and subject matter experts.
- Experience managing large-scale databases and understanding related methodologies and processes.
- Adaptability to learn and work with multiple and diverse data systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Current employees with knowledge of internal data systems are preferred.
- Experience with SQL Server queries and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is advantageous.
- Proven ability to maintain data integrity and support workflow continuity in dynamic environments.
