We are looking for a motivated and goal-driven Business Development Executive to lead the direct sales efforts of our proprietary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. This role focuses primarily on B2B direct sales, involving engaging with potential clients, visiting their premises, understanding their operational challenges, and demonstrating how our ERP solution can optimize their business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily on-field visits to companies, initiating direct conversations with business owners, directors, and senior management.
- Identify, qualify, and generate high-potential business leads through direct outreach, cold-calling, and industry networking.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and return on investment of our ERP software.
- Lead initial discovery discussions with prospective clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and software requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
- Gather competitive intelligence, monitor industry trends, and relay client feedback to internal product and technical teams to enhance product positioning.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster referrals, account growth, and renewals.
- Track daily field activities, meetings, client statuses, and sales pipelines using the CRM system, providing regular updates to management.
- Collaborate closely with implementation and technical support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and clear communication of client requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on B2B direct sales experience, preferably in IT products, SaaS, or ERP systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong presentation, pitching, and active listening abilities.
- High energy and willingness to engage in daily fieldwork, including door-to-door company visits and face-to-face networking.
- Ability to quickly learn ERP software features and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical business decision-makers.
- Proven skills in objection handling, effective negotiation, and closing high-value B2B deals.
- Personal conveyance (motorcycle or car) is required for daily client visits.
