Business Development Executive

We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team in Pakistan, working with European clients to expand our Student Application Management System, a SaaS platform designed to streamline university admissions from enquiry to enrolment.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with admissions, international office, and IT teams at European universities to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations, explaining how the system integrates with existing university setups, including data flow, security, and technical integrations.
- Address technical inquiries related to APIs, SIS/CRM integration, hosting, and GDPR compliance, collaborating with engineers when necessary.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery calls, proposal development, responding to tenders/RFPs, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM pipeline and regularly report on sales targets and progress.
- Communicate client feedback effectively to the product team to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development, preferably within EdTech or working with international clients.
- Strong technical understanding of web-based software, databases, integrations, and APIs; a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is advantageous.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in a European language such as German, French, or Dutch is a plus.
- Comfortable with cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls, and able to work according to European time zones.
- Familiarity with GDPR regulations and the European higher education sector is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of explaining complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
