Business Development Executive

Meezan Bank Limited, Pakistan’s first and largest Islamic bank, is seeking a dedicated Business Development Executive for its Sahiwal District branch. Established in 2002 as the pioneer Islamic commercial bank licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan, Meezan Bank has grown rapidly and earned a reputation for offering Shariah-compliant financial products and services. This full-time, on-site role focuses on driving new business growth by promoting Meezan Bank’s Islamic banking solutions and fostering long-term relationships with both individual and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective lead generation and client engagement.
- Conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial needs and present appropriate Islamic banking products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with branch and product teams to facilitate smooth onboarding of new accounts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide timely market feedback to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Uphold high service standards by working with internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations and contribute to the bank’s expansion goals in the region.

Required Qualifications
- Proven skills in new business development and lead generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert prospects effectively.
- Strong business and account management capabilities to maintain customer portfolios and support sustainable growth.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in client interactions.
- Relevant experience in banking, financial services, or sales/business development is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of Islamic banking principles and familiarity with the local market dynamics in the Sahiwal District will be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets consistently, adhere to compliance guidelines, and maintain high ethical standards.
