Skylight Codeworks is seeking a motivated Business Development & Lead Generation Intern to join their Lahore office on an onsite basis. This internship is designed for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and offers a three-month duration with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The role primarily involves identifying potential clients, conducting outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, managing follow-ups, and supporting the sales pipeline for software and IT services. This position provides valuable exposure to the sales process within a professional software-house environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients using platforms such as LinkedIn, email, Upwork, and others.
- Generate and qualify leads according to company criteria.
- Draft and send professional outreach messages and follow-up communications.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and prospects using Excel or CRM tools.
- Assist with appointment setting and initial client interactions.
- Support the preparation of proposals and sales presentations.
- Conduct market research to identify target industries and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team on active leads and follow-up activities.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on outreach and lead generation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Previous exposure to sales, lead generation, marketing, or business development is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn prospecting, email outreach, Upwork, Excel, and CRM software.
- Interest in software services, web development, mobile applications, and technology sectors.
- Confidence and proactiveness in communicating with potential clients.
- Ability to work onsite during the specified office hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This internship offers hands-on experience in IT sales and business development with training and mentorship from an experienced team. Interns will gain exposure to real client acquisition and sales processes, enhancing their professional skills. Upon completion, an internship certificate will be provided. The role is based in a professional software-house environment, with growth opportunities available based on performance. High-performing interns may also be considered for potential full-time employment.
The position is located at the company’s office on the 3rd Floor, Zam Zam Mall, Main Grand Trunk Road, Lahore. This is an in-person role requiring commitment to the onsite schedule.
