Business Development Manager

Dahua Technology Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd., a prominent player in the Defence, Government, Smart Policing, Smart City, Transportation, and Justice sectors, is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager based in Karachi. This full-time role focuses on managing and expanding project business within the government target group. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving marketing strategies, gaining industry insights, establishing and enhancing key customer relationships, identifying potential project opportunities, and overseeing Proof of Concept (PoC) operations through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead sales and business growth initiatives by leveraging marketing and industry insights to identify and convert key government customers.
- Develop and nurture relationships with major clients, ensuring sustained engagement and project success.
- Identify and cultivate potential project opportunities, managing them from inception through to contract signing and implementation.
- Coordinate activities with key end users and system integrators to align with strategic directions.
- Maintain accurate records of project opportunities, including progress updates, planning, risk assessment, and support requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as pre-sales, delivery, product management, as well as regional and country managers to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years’ experience working within government relationships and managing large-scale project operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills essential for engaging with government clients and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales reporting, tracking, and basic data analysis.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently to achieve business objectives.
