Consort Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) to join its expanding Logistics and Freight Forwarding Sales team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Gulberg III, Lahore, with working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, aligned with US and Canadian business hours. The role focuses on B2B sales within the US and Canadian trucking, logistics, dispatch, and freight brokerage markets. It is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in building a career in international sales and logistics. Comprehensive training will be provided to help successful candidates develop the necessary skills. Candidates with significantly more experience than required may not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to identify potential clients among US and Canadian trucking companies, carriers, and owner-operators.
- Research prospects and uncover potential business opportunities within the target market.
- Present and promote dispatching and freight brokerage services to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain professional relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Manage leads throughout the sales cycle, working to convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Achieve or exceed assigned monthly sales and business development targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, communications, and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding and handover process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, customer acquisition, or related areas. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Willingness to work evening hours aligned with US and Canadian business operations.
