Odin Customs, a customs brokerage based in Oslo, is developing Novura Link, a cutting-edge platform designed to streamline trade with Norway. With the Digitoll module already operational, the company is now focused on building a comprehensive TVINN declaration system. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, profitable team working remotely from Pakistan, where you will contribute directly to shaping the future of customs and trade technology.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the TVINN system, which involves working with EDI/EDIFACT messaging, submission processes, and error handling. Your work will also include enhancing the live Digitoll platform and contributing to the upcoming TVINN module. Additionally, you will design and implement AI workflows for document extraction and classification. Collaboration with customs specialists will be a key part of your daily activities, ensuring that technical solutions align with domain-specific requirements. As a senior engineer, you will bring your expertise in Python (preferably FastAPI) and React/Next.js to build scalable, production-ready systems.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have significant production experience as a senior engineer working with Python, with a preference for FastAPI frameworks. Proficiency in frontend development using React or Next.js is essential. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design robust systems are critical for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with EDI/EDIFACT standards, systems design, or logistics is highly desirable but not mandatory, as the company is willing to provide training in customs processes.
