Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, Databricks, and data engineering to join our team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and optimizing business intelligence solutions, creating high-performance dashboards, managing ETL processes, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires hands-on experience with modern data platforms, query optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to provide clear business insights.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Utilize Databricks for data processing and engineering tasks, ensuring data quality and performance.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and PySpark to support data integration and transformation.
- Implement and manage the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to organize and streamline data workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and improve dashboard performance and query efficiency to enhance user experience.
- Integrate data from various sources using REST APIs and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Support CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Zendesk by providing relevant data insights and integrations.
- Communicate effectively to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions that align with business goals.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data engineering tools.
- Expertise in SQL query optimization and dashboard performance enhancement.
- Experience in ETL development using Python and PySpark.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for supplementary reporting needs.
- Familiarity with Medallion Architecture concepts and implementation.
- Understanding of REST APIs for data integration purposes.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and gather business requirements effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and requires on-site presence.
