We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist who excels at transforming complex data into clear, actionable business insights. This role bridges data analysis, visualization, business acumen, and storytelling. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to understand business challenges, explore data thoroughly, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate findings effectively through engaging dashboards, reports, presentations, and data-driven narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
- Translate business questions and requirements into analytical frameworks and measurable KPIs.
- Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Craft compelling data stories that clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc analytical reports, executive summaries, and business presentations.
- Utilize Excel and SQL extensively for data analysis, investigation, validation, and reporting.
- Apply Python for data analysis, automation, transformation, and advanced analytical tasks.
- Collaborate closely with product, commercial, data engineering, and business teams to define metrics and analytical requirements.
- Validate data quality and ensure consistency across dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and enhance BI workflows.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Continuously improve dashboards, reporting frameworks, KPI definitions, and analytical methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced Excel skills, including analytical functions, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, capable of building sophisticated dashboards and visualizations.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and effective data storytelling.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into simple, business-friendly narratives.
- Strong grasp of KPIs, metrics, business performance analysis, and analytical methodologies.
- High attention to data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and geospatial or location-based data.
- Background in real estate, PropTech, financial services, retail, consulting, or other data-intensive industries.
- Experience building executive dashboards and management reporting.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive analytics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced product or technology company environment.
