As a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II, you will serve as a strategic partner to Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders. This role goes beyond traditional reporting support; you will own and execute recurring business rhythms end-to-end, develop automation solutions to scale these processes, and provide insightful recommendations to leadership. You will be integral to the operational engine of the sales organization, managing weekly and quarterly business review cadences, maintaining the underlying data infrastructure, planning territories and coverage, and tracking quota attainment and performance KPIs that influence executive decisions. A key focus is replacing manual tasks with AI agents, automated workflows, and scripted data pipelines, requiring you to build and implement these tools rather than merely consuming them.
Key Responsibilities
- Own recurring business reviews by managing weekly and quarterly cadences, reconciling data, uncovering the narratives behind performance shifts, and ensuring leadership deadlines are met.
- Develop automation solutions to eliminate manual work, including AI agents, multi-system workflows, and scripted data pipelines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of pipeline, funnel, forecast, and productivity data to answer leadership questions with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with sales leaders on territory planning, account assignments, book balancing, and capacity expansion.
- Maintain accurate tracking of quota, targets, and KPIs, ensuring metric definitions withstand executive-level scrutiny.
- Act as the operational counterpart to sales leaders, coordinating with Systems, Data Quality, Enablement, SDR, Marketing, and Finance teams to resolve issues at their source.
- Ensure data integrity by embedding quality assurance in all deliverables and addressing recurring data issues proactively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, or business strategy, with direct ownership of recurring reporting or analytics for commercial teams.
- Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to independently write and debug complex warehouse queries involving joins, window functions, CTEs, and aggregation logic.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets and working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience building AI-driven automation using platforms such as Glean, n8n, Apps Script, or similar tools. Familiarity with Hex, Python, or comparable analytics technologies is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical judgment with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured problems, apply appropriate rigor, and defend assumptions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex data models to non-technical sales leaders and distill extensive analyses into clear, concise narratives.
- High ownership mentality, proactively seeking answers across teams, escalating issues with proposed solutions, and maintaining a rigorous accuracy standard.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
