This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates aiming to establish a career in accounting and finance. The role involves supporting the finance team with a variety of accounting duties, tax compliance tasks, and financial reporting activities. It offers hands-on experience in a professional setting, working on-site alongside the finance team. This is a full-time, contract-based role for a duration of 36 months, with a starting monthly salary of Rs25,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Aid in gathering and organizing information required for tax filings and compliance reports.
- Assist with basic tax calculations and ensure adherence to local and national tax regulations.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and presentations by analyzing data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Learn and utilize financial software and tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
- Assist in payroll processing and administration of employee benefits.
- Participate in audit preparation and documentation activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably a recent graduate.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and a willingness to learn and adapt.
