Cab Dispatcher (Inbound UK Based)

IBSTEC is seeking an experienced Cab Dispatcher to join our UK-based Taxi Dispatch Campaign. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of direct experience in taxi dispatch operations, specifically within the UK market. This role requires hands-on knowledge of managing taxi bookings, coordinating live dispatches, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and customers. The successful candidate will be expected to independently oversee dispatch operations while ensuring high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from UK customers and accurately process taxi bookings.
- Manage live bookings, dispatch requests, and allocate drivers efficiently.
- Assign jobs to drivers based on availability, location, and operational needs.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding pickups, drop-offs, delays, cancellations, and route changes.
- Monitor live journeys to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Manage booking amendments, cancellations, customer complaints, and urgent requests professionally.
- Handle multiple bookings simultaneously, especially during peak hours.
- Maintain accurate booking records and update dispatch software in real time.
- Resolve issues related to customers and drivers promptly and professionally.
- Ensure smooth daily dispatch operations while maintaining service quality.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in taxi dispatch operations is mandatory.
- Prior experience working with UK taxi dispatch campaigns is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK taxi booking and dispatch procedures.
- Proficiency in using taxi dispatch software and booking management systems.
- Excellent spoken English with a neutral or British accent.
- Strong coordination skills with drivers and effective customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including evenings and nights.
- Comfortable working shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.
