This role represents the airline’s ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image at all times. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service to passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They must be physically fit and prepared to operate efficiently, adhering to the company’s policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Participate in briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instruct passengers on safety protocols to maintain their safety and comfort throughout the flight. Identify safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary and promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording required data in the aircraft logbook according to airline and regulatory standards.
- Provide continuous excellent customer service by addressing individual passenger requests and pre-bookings. Support passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in line with operational policies.
- Promote onboard sales, including meals, products, and charity programs, to meet individual and team revenue targets. Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card transactions related to sales and donations.
- Conduct pre-flight checks to verify the availability of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other necessary items; report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transit and adequately restocked with catering and duty-free products.
- Manage orderly handover and takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams.
- Complete post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any issues encountered during the flight.
- Assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional knowledge and safety competence through recurrent training, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving assigned sales targets and supporting overall operational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
- Physically fit to fly with no serious medical conditions or chronic illnesses.
- Presentable and friendly, demonstrating a cheerful and positive attitude, even under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand and meet passenger needs.
- Skilled in managing difficult situations and handling upset customers without compromising the airline’s image.
- Focused and proactive, capable of identifying irregularities and efficiently managing threats or emergencies.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and effective teamwork skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus depending on airline requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Requirements

- Age between 20-29 years for entry-level candidates; up to 33 years for experienced crew members.
- Minimum height: 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males, with weight proportional to height and age.
- Clear skin with no visible tattoos or marks while in uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim using a flotation device.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in cabin crew, customer service, aviation, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is beneficial.
- Willingness and ability to work in shifts, including extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent schedule changes and busy environments.
- Proven ability to comply with policies, procedures, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
