Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s newest airline and part of a prominent group company, is offering an exciting opportunity for skilled A320 type-rated foreign pilots to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This role is exclusively open to eligible foreign nationals and involves a 15-month contract, which includes approximately three months of initial training followed by 12 months of flying duties. The contract may be renewed based on mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities
The pilot will be responsible for flying the assigned aircraft according to schedules and approved flight plans, acting as the ultimate authority for the aircraft during flights. They must ensure all flights comply with the airline’s Operations Manual and regulatory requirements, maintaining safety and smooth operations at all times. Timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality of self and crew must be ensured. Pre-flight briefings are to be conducted to keep all crew members informed of flight details. Coordination with co-pilots and the Dispatch Team is essential to prepare the flight crew with necessary information, including aircraft technical status, weather, fuel, and route preferences. The pilot must optimize fuel efficiency within safety constraints and oversee safety, security, fuel, and transit checks before, during, and after each flight. They are also responsible for managing any safety or security irregularities and deciding on necessary escalations.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a valid ATPL license and successfully pass technical and psychometric assessments as per airline and civil aviation authority standards. Medical fitness certification is mandatory. Formal training in safety and emergency response is essential, while knowledge of airport security procedures, Crew Resource Management, and IATA security principles is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Applicants should have a minimum of 4,000 flying hours, including at least 800 hours as Pilot-in-Command on the Airbus A320. Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and exposure to quality assurance, safety, security, and audit processes related to flight operations is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to implement policies and procedures in line with approved standards, possess effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.

During the initial training period, pilots will receive a net monthly salary of AED 22,000 (approximately US$6,000), pro-rated if applicable, plus per diem. After successful completion of training and the final line check, the salary increases to AED 33,800 (approximately US$9,200) per month for up to 60 block hours flown. Additional block hours beyond 60 are compensated at AED 475 (around US$130) per hour. A daily per diem of AED 184 (about US$50), averaging US$1,500 monthly, is provided for food and miscellaneous expenses.

Accommodation is provided on a bed and breakfast basis at the base of operations and layover stations, including personal laundry service for four pieces of clothing per day. Ground transportation between accommodation and airports or office for all rostered duties is arranged. The company covers economy class travel at the start and end of the contract with a 50 kg baggage allowance. Pilots have access to unlimited standby tickets on the Air Arabia group network during the contract and become eligible for MYID travel benefits after six months.

Uniforms and laundry services are supplied throughout the contract. Pilots are entitled to 30 calendar days of annual leave per completed year, accruing at 2.5 days monthly. Paid vacation begins after successful training and line flying release, coinciding with the start of regular rostered duties. Paid vacation days are combined with rostered days off to guarantee at least seven consecutive free days each month.

This role offers a competitive package and a unique opportunity to be part of an emerging airline with a dynamic operational environment.
