Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team and contribute to the construction, installation, and repair of various wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with wood, plywood, and wallboard, and be able to interpret blueprints and drawings accurately to fulfill client requirements. This role demands precision in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials, as well as the ability to install components such as window frames, doors, staircases, and cabinets. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential to ensure quality workmanship and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and sketches to meet client specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials with accuracy.
- Install structural elements including window frames, doors, staircases, and cabinets.
- Build and assemble building frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Inspect existing frameworks and fixtures, replacing damaged or worn components as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the project duration.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry or a related trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical sketches.
- Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood materials.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual labor and operate carpentry tools.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
