American Truck Inc., a licensed freight brokerage under FMCSA, specializes in connecting shippers with dependable carriers throughout the U.S. and Canada. We manage a variety of freight types including dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, box truck, and expedited loads. Known for our competitive rates and strong carrier relationships, we are expanding our Islamabad team and seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Representative. In this role, you will identify and onboard new carriers, align loads with appropriate trucks at optimal rates, and cultivate a reliable carrier network that consistently partners with us.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and qualify carriers using platforms such as DAT, Truckstop, and personal networks.
- Conduct thorough onboarding of new carriers, including verification of MC/DOT numbers, insurance certificates (COI), W-9 forms, Notices of Assignment (NOA), and carrier agreements.
- Match freight loads with carriers based on equipment type, preferred lanes, capacity, and historical performance.
- Negotiate carrier rates that balance company margins with fair compensation for carriers.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with dispatchers and owner-operators to ensure ongoing collaboration.
- Issue rate confirmations and monitor loads from pickup to delivery, ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage delays, detention, and other operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate carrier and load records within the Transportation Management System (TMS).

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in U.S. freight carrier sales, dispatch, or brokerage.
- Demonstrated success in covering loads and negotiating rates via phone communication.
- Strong understanding of U.S. trucking industry standards, including equipment types, common lanes, and carrier compliance requirements.
- Practical experience using DAT and/or Truckstop platforms.
- Fluent English communication skills with confidence in handling calls with U.S.-based carriers.
- Availability to work U.S. business hours (night shift) on-site in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Existing network of carriers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with carrier vetting tools such as Highway, Carrier Assure, or RMIS.
- Experience handling U.S.–Canada cross-border freight operations.
