Resource Linked is seeking a motivated and responsible Cashier to join its retail team at the F-7 Markaz location in Islamabad. This full-time role requires working six days a week and focuses on managing billing operations while ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in handling various payment methods, and dedicated to maintaining precise records in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer purchases efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring all transactions are accurate. Receive and verify payments through multiple methods, including cash, debit/credit cards, and authorized vouchers. Follow company cash management procedures and operational guidelines for handling cash and making bank deposits. Maintain error-free billing records by accurately recording all sales transactions. Safeguard cash receipts and company funds by adhering to security and control protocols. Handle product returns, refunds, and exchanges according to approved company policies. Manage and monitor the store’s petty cash fund, preparing accurate monthly reconciliation reports for Retail Administration. Verify product prices and ensure correct invoicing through the POS system before completing sales. Perform routine cash balancing and reconciliation daily, weekly, and monthly to maintain financial accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a BA, BSc, BCom, FA, FSC, or BBA degree. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a cashier or retail billing role is essential. Proficiency with POS systems and cash management procedures is required. The ability to prepare accurate reconciliation reports is important. Strong numerical accuracy and keen attention to detail are necessary. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact effectively with customers and team members.
