CASHIER

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, managing cash handling duties, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires maintaining financial accuracy while ensuring compliance with company policies. The position is full-time and based in Karachi, with in-person work expected.

Key Responsibilities

Process Transactions: Accurately calculate charges and receive payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or other approved payment methods.

Maintain Financial Accuracy: Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets with precision to ensure correct transaction records.

Manage Cash Drawer: Keep the cash drawer organized and balanced by performing cash counting and reconciliation at the start and end of each shift.

Provide Customer Service: Greet customers warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave, creating a positive shopping experience.

Resolve Issues: Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues to management when necessary.

Assist Customers: Respond to basic product or service inquiries and guide customers to the appropriate sections within the store.

Ensure Compliance: Handle all money and transactions in strict accordance with company policies and procedures.

Manage Returns: Process returns and exchanges accurately, following company guidelines to maintain customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cash handling (preferred)
- Proficiency in English and Urdu (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-person retail environment
