Cashier

PostEx is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Rahim Yar Khan. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cash handling, reconciliation, and record-keeping, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions on a daily basis. This role requires a high level of integrity and attention to detail to maintain the accuracy of cash operations and support the overall efficiency of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate cash records.
- Manage Cash on Delivery (COD) collections, perform cash reconciliation, and ensure daily balancing.
- Prepare daily cash reports and maintain thorough documentation of all transactions.
- Ensure timely cash deposits in accordance with company policies.
- Identify and report any cash discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate closely with the Branch Manager to ensure compliance with cash-handling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in cash handling or a similar role.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to perform accurate reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for managing and reporting cash transactions.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in courier, logistics, or retail operations is preferred, as it will help in understanding the nature of cash transactions in such environments.
