We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Monitoring Operator to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuously observing surveillance cameras to ensure the safety and security of designated areas. This role requires maintaining accurate logs, promptly reporting any suspicious activities, and coordinating with the security team during emergencies. The position involves working in shifts, including night hours, and demands a high level of alertness and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance screens to detect any unusual or unauthorized activity.
- Identify and report suspicious behavior or incidents immediately to the supervisor or security team.
- Maintain accurate monitoring logs and prepare detailed incident reports as required.
- Oversee entry and exit points, parking areas, offices, stations, and other assigned locations.
- Ensure all CCTV cameras and related monitoring equipment are operational; report any technical malfunctions promptly.
- Retrieve and review CCTV footage when requested for investigations or audits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding surveillance footage and company information.
- Perform duties according to assigned shifts, including night shifts, while maintaining high levels of concentration and alertness.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education of Intermediate level; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations is preferred.
- Strong observation skills with the ability to notice and interpret unusual activities.
- Effective communication skills to report incidents clearly and promptly.
- Basic computer proficiency to operate monitoring systems and maintain logs.
- Ability to work in shifts and remain attentive for extended periods.
- Demonstrated responsibility, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Candidates with prior experience in a similar security or surveillance role will be given preference.
- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs39,000 to Rs40,000.
- The work location requires physical presence on-site to ensure effective monitoring and quick response.
