The CCTV Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of property and personnel by monitoring and operating surveillance systems. This position requires constant vigilance to observe CCTV footage, identify suspicious activities, and ensure that all security equipment is functioning properly. The operator is responsible for timely reporting of incidents and collaborating with security teams to uphold a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring: Operate and oversee all surveillance cameras and security systems within the control center. Continuously observe CCTV screens to detect and prevent criminal activity, suspicious behavior, and potential safety hazards. Maintain security by monitoring access points and surveillance equipment.
Reporting: Document and report any incidents or suspicious activities to the relevant authorities promptly. Maintain detailed logs of observations, incidents, and actions taken throughout the shift. Prepare comprehensive reports for review by security management.
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular checks to ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning effectively. Troubleshoot minor malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs or replacements as needed.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with security staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders when required. Provide accurate information during incidents to support appropriate responses. Respond promptly to alarms and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve security issues.
Compliance and Safety: Follow all company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to surveillance and privacy. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and observed activities. Adhere to safety protocols to protect personal and public safety.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or CCTV operation is preferred.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with CCTV and security software.

Work Environment:

The operator must maintain alertness and focus for long durations. Good visual acuity and hearing are essential to accurately monitor and interpret surveillance footage. Precision in operating equipment is also required.
This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary of Rs60,000. Candidates with at least two years of experience as a CCTV Operator are preferred. The job location is Lahore, and the role requires in-person attendance.
