CCTV Technician

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of CCTV systems. This role requires proficiency in networking setup as well as DVR and NVR configuration to ensure the smooth operation and security of surveillance systems. The position is classified under Grade-6 and offers a competitive pay scale. The candidate should be no older than 35 years and must be prepared to meet the application deadline.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems promptly.
- Monitor CCTV systems continuously to detect and report any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Set up and manage network configurations necessary for the operation of DVRs and NVRs.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with security and IT teams to integrate CCTV systems with broader security infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system updates.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and experience with DVR/NVR configuration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
