CEO - Construction Business

Role Description The CEO – Construction Business will lead the development, growth, and overall performance of MIH’s construction-focused business unit in Lahore. This full-time, on-site role includes setting strategic direction, overseeing operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

The CEO will manage senior stakeholders, build and maintain client relationships, and drive business development, including identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and expanding the portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, monitoring financial performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. The CEO will also mentor leaders, foster a high-performance culture, and collaborate with MIH’s learning and HR experts to support talent development within the construction business.

Qualifications

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with a track record of leading business units or organizations in the construction sector.
Proficiency in construction project management, including budget oversight, timeline management, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
Experience in business development, client relationship management, contract negotiation, and market expansion within construction or related industries.
Financial and commercial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, cost control, and risk management.
Ability to build, lead, and develop diverse teams, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with local construction regulations, standards, and best practices in Lahore and the broader region.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Experience collaborating with HR, learning, and organizational development functions to support talent and organizational growth is beneficial.
Capacity to work on-site in Lahore and travel to project locations as needed.
