Based in Karachi, Pakistan, this on-site accounting position requires a detail-oriented professional with 2 to 3 years of experience managing accounting operations for both Pakistan and US entities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations for Pakistan and US entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Handle tax calculations and ensure compliance with Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations as well as relevant US tax laws.
- Provide support during audits by maintaining proper financial records and documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Assist with payroll processing, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA certification is preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of practical accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws (FBR) and familiarity with US accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
