This position involves routine product testing and qualification to support chemical, oil, or gas production and manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet release standards. The role focuses on developing and implementing inspection programs and tests to maintain compliance and quality control for product certification. The candidate will work primarily with finished lubricants, raw materials, additives, base oils, and used oil samples in a lubricant testing laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine testing of lubricants and related materials to ensure consistency in quality and adherence to manufacturing specifications.
- Calibrate all laboratory equipment used in the analysis of lubricants, used oils, and fuels to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Support laboratory functions to ensure testing equipment and activities comply with established standards and the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System.
- Maintain laboratory services at a level that meets the requirements of end users.
- Implement the Product Integrity Policy to uphold product quality and safety standards.
- Manage SAP Quality Management (QM) activities, including data entry and monitoring.
- Coordinate effectively with the technical team and sales staff to support operational needs.
- Generate Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and other required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Issue blend adjustments or corrections as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Monitor laboratory test compliance with external standards, including participation in ASTM round robin programs.
- Handle documentation related to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in lubricant testing or a related laboratory environment.
- Strong knowledge of lubricant manufacturing specifications and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for laboratory equipment used in chemical and oil analysis.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental management systems.
- Experience with SAP Quality Management module or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to generate detailed reports and Certificates of Analysis with accuracy.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
