Key Responsibilities
- Receive and assess chemotherapy patients by recording vital signs and reviewing lab results to ensure readiness for treatment.
- Verify and endorse signatures on chemotherapy medication orders prior to preparation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy procedures strictly following clinical protocols while continuously monitoring patient condition.
- Adhere to stringent safety precautions for the handling and preparation of chemotherapy drugs to minimize risk.
- Monitor patients closely for any adverse reactions or side effects and immediately report concerns to the responsible physician.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team and patient care objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate education level is mandatory.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required to ensure appropriate clinical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work in person at the designated job location in Rawalpindi.
