We are seeking a hands-on, commercially astute Finance Leader to bring financial clarity, discipline, and scalability across a diverse and expanding portfolio of companies, subsidiaries, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), and projects. This role goes beyond traditional CFO responsibilities; you will design and implement robust financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks that empower the CEO and Board to make faster, more informed decisions. As a foundational member of the Group’s leadership, you will play a critical role in driving the next phase of growth. For the right candidate, this is more than a CFO position—it is an opportunity to join as a Co-Founder and help build the business from the inside out.
Key Responsibilities
- Build: Develop a unified, Group-wide finance architecture and reporting system, while assembling and leading a high-performance finance team.
- Control: Oversee cash management, working capital, profitability analysis, budgeting, internal controls, tax compliance, audit processes, and risk management.
- Scale: Drive funding strategies, implement ERP and automation solutions, manage project finance, optimize capital allocation, and shape the overall financial strategy.
- Cash Management: Maintain daily cash visibility and produce a rolling 13-week cash forecast to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver consolidated Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports, and management dashboards that provide clear financial insights.
- Profitability Analysis: Monitor and report on company-wide, business unit, and project-level profitability to guide strategic decisions.
- Funding & Capital Structure: Manage relationships with banks, debt facilities, and oversee the Group’s capital structure.
- Systems & Transformation: Lead ERP implementation, automation initiatives, and broader finance transformation efforts.
- Governance & Controls: Ensure strong governance frameworks, risk mitigation, tax compliance, and audit readiness.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead the Group Finance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the CEO, Chairman, and Board to align financial strategy with business goals.
Initial 90-Day Roadmap
- 30 Days – Diagnose: Gain comprehensive understanding of the Group’s cash flows, debt, receivables, payables, tax obligations, audits, ongoing projects, personnel, and risk exposures.
- 60 Days – Standardize: Establish a single reporting framework, implement clear controls, finalize budgets, improve cash visibility, and define profitability metrics for companies and projects.
- 90 Days – Implement: Roll out consolidated reporting, 13-week cash forecasting, management dashboards, a structured finance team, and a detailed finance transformation roadmap.
