Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Karachi, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to lead and shape the organization’s people function. This leadership role demands a professional who can develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies, foster a strong organizational culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and align talent management initiatives with the company’s overall business goals. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on HR expertise and strategic vision to drive the company’s human capital agenda forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s HR strategy, policies, procedures, and annual HR plans to support business objectives.
- Lead performance management systems, talent acquisition efforts, succession planning, and employee engagement programs to build a high-performing workforce.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination, HR operations, and employee services to ensure smooth and compliant HR processes.
- Manage workforce planning, organizational development, training initiatives, and career progression programs to support employee growth and retention.
- Provide senior management with expert advice on employee relations, disciplinary matters, organizational structure, and people-related risks to mitigate challenges and promote a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with a specialization in Human Resource Management.
- Professional certification such as SHRM, CHRM, or SPHR is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years in a senior HR leadership role or at least 6 years as Head of Human Resources in a reputable organization.
- Proven experience in performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, HR operations, employee relations, and HRIS implementation and administration.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other regulated industries will be considered an advantage.
- Strong communication, administrative, and team management skills are essential to effectively lead HR functions and collaborate across departments.
