Chief Operating Officer – Outsourcing Unit

AshreiTech is looking for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and enhance the operations of its Outsourcing Unit based in Karachi, Pakistan. This on-site role involves overseeing business functions during the night shift from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The COO will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth, optimizing performance, and managing cross-functional teams with a focus on US-based operations. The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 12+ years of experience in operations management and demonstrate strong leadership and strategic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily business operations and ensure the execution of strategic objectives aligned with company goals.
- Lead department heads and cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and high performance across all units.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), and promote continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate activities across Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Administration, and Service Delivery departments.
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and scalability of business processes.
- Identify operational risks, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and US-based stakeholders to support business growth.
- Prepare detailed operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in operations management, business leadership, or organizational management roles.
- Proven track record of managing multiple departments and diverse business functions effectively.
- Strong expertise in operational strategy development, budgeting, KPI management, and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
