Chief Strategy Officer

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Trainee will work closely with the Founder & CEO to learn, analyze, and contribute to the company’s strategic direction and business development. This role begins with a training and evaluation period, during which the candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of Z9 Empire’s business model, products, teams, workflows, objectives, and future plans. Successful completion of this stage may lead to a full-time CSO position.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to inform strategic decisions
- Analyze business and product performance metrics
- Identify new business and growth opportunities aligned with company goals
- Support strategic planning and business development initiatives
- Research potential partnerships and collaborations to expand the company’s reach
- Assist in developing new product and market strategies
- Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations
- Help create short-term and long-term company roadmaps
- Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, COO, and other teams to align strategies
- Translate research and insights into practical strategic actions
- Support executive-level decision-making and planning processes

Required Qualifications

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a keen interest in business strategy and technology
- Basic understanding of business planning, management, and financial concepts
- Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative and responsibility
- Academic background in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Technology, Computer Science, or related fields is advantageous
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, fintech, and software development
- Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks

Training & Evaluation Period

During the initial training and evaluation stage, the candidate will immerse themselves in Z9 Empire’s operations, products, teams, and strategic objectives. They will engage in practical company activities and strategic tasks while being assessed on performance, communication, leadership potential, strategic thinking, reliability, and overall contribution. This period is unpaid and does not guarantee subsequent employment.

Full-Time Opportunity

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, strategic insight, leadership ability, reliability, and effective collaboration with the leadership team during the evaluation period may be offered a paid full-time CSO position. The final decision will also consider Z9 Empire’s business needs. It is important to note that a paid position is not guaranteed.
