Chief Strategy Officer

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Trainee will work closely with the Founder & CEO to learn, analyze, and contribute to the company’s strategic direction and business development. This role begins with a training and evaluation period designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the business model, products, teams, workflows, objectives, and future plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to inform strategic decisions.
- Analyze business and product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify new business and growth opportunities aligned with company goals.
- Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Research potential partnerships and collaborations to expand the company’s reach.
- Assist in developing new product and market entry strategies.
- Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Help develop both short-term and long-term company roadmaps.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, COO, and other teams to align strategies.
- Translate research and insights into practical strategic actions.
- Support executive-level decision-making and planning processes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Genuine interest in business strategy, startups, and technology sectors.
- Basic understanding of business planning and management principles.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and financial concepts.
- Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Academic background in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Technology, Computer Science, or related fields is advantageous.
- Interest in AI, blockchain, fintech, software, and emerging technologies.
- Willingness to learn quickly and take on responsibility.

Training & Evaluation Period
The initial phase involves a training and evaluation period where the candidate will gain hands-on experience with Z9 Empire’s operations, products, teams, and strategic objectives. During this time, the candidate will participate in practical company activities and strategic tasks. Performance will be assessed based on communication, leadership potential, strategic thinking, reliability, and overall contribution. It is important to note that this initial stage is unpaid and does not guarantee a paid position.

Future Opportunity
Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, strategic contribution, leadership ability, reliability, quality of work, and effective collaboration with the leadership team during the training period may be offered a paid full-time Chief Strategy Officer position. The final decision will be based on the candidate’s alignment with Z9 Empire’s business requirements and overall fit within the company.
