Civil Engineer

Yukon Builders & Developers is an expanding construction firm actively engaged in projects across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Karachi, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our concrete and steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented Civil Engineer responsible for planning, executing, and delivering RCC and steel structure projects on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves leading site teams, managing contractors, and ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from mobilization through to handover.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Supervise reinforced cement concrete (RCC) activities including formwork, rebar placement, concreting, curing, and quality testing.
- Oversee steel structure operations such as fabrication, erection, welding, bolting, and inspection.
- Review drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications; address and resolve technical issues in coordination with consultants.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement of materials to ensure timely availability.
- Prepare progress reports, interim payment certificates (IPCs), and variation claims.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, as well as client requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and the head office to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to maintain high performance and teamwork.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) only.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction, with at least 3 to 5 years in a Project Manager role.
- Demonstrated success managing concrete and steel structure projects, preferably in industrial, commercial, or high-rise sectors.
- Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration is mandatory; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, cost control, billing processes, and contract management.
- Knowledge of relevant construction codes such as ACI, BS, and AISC, along with site safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at project locations.
