This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the assigned hospital location according to supervisor instructions. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing vacant patient units for new admissions, performing routine cleaning tasks, and ensuring that all areas and equipment are kept in hygienic condition. The position requires interaction with patients and their families, assisting with patient transportation within the facility, and supporting other operational needs as directed.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the assigned location in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition as per supervisor directives.
- Complete cleaning turnovers and make-ready procedures for vacant patient units as instructed.
- Perform daily cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning light fixtures, and equipment in designated areas.
- Ensure ward equipment, patient beds, and windows are properly cleaned and dusted regularly.
- Assist with trash collection and disposal in the assigned areas.
- Support patient transportation for x-rays, lab tests, and transfers within the hospital as directed by supervisors.
- Collect and prepare soiled laundry for washing from the floors and patient areas.
- Retrieve departmental general supplies or pharmacy items as requested by the area supervisor.
- Maintain a polite, respectful, and non-aggressive demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.

Required Qualifications
- Experience in hospital or healthcare facility cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills with a professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks and assist with patient transport as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards within the healthcare environment.
