Chiniot Institute of Nursing & Midwifery – Korangi is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and coordinate clinical training for nursing students. The role involves managing clinical schedules, ensuring effective collaboration with healthcare facilities, and maintaining high standards of clinical education. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the institution with clinical sites, supporting students and staff during practical sessions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical schedules, rotations, and assignments for students and staff.
- Coordinate clinical placements with affiliated hospitals and healthcare facilities to ensure smooth training experiences.
- Supervise students, trainees, and staff during clinical practice, monitoring attendance, performance, and adherence to protocols.
- Act as a liaison between the institution, clinical sites, and healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and resolve any issues related to clinical activities.
- Maintain accurate records of clinical placements, student evaluations, and patient care activities while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Prepare detailed reports for faculty, administration, and accrediting bodies as required.
- Guide and mentor students in developing clinical skills and professional conduct, including organizing orientation sessions before clinical postings.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommend areas for improvement to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Ensure all clinical practices comply with institutional, legal, and ethical guidelines, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of clinical education.
- Assist in curriculum development by aligning clinical training with academic requirements and collaborate with faculty in evaluating student competencies.
- Manage scheduling conflicts and clinical resources effectively to optimize training opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) license.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- At least one year of teaching experience in a nursing college, preferably with BSN students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage clinical education activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and academic staff to enhance the clinical training environment.
