This role focuses on ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice within the healthcare facility. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring protocols that promote patient safety and quality care. The position requires close collaboration with medical, paramedical, and nursing staff to maintain compliance with established guidelines and improve patient outcomes. The individual will also oversee patient management processes to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience throughout their hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop standards of good clinical practices, ensuring their effective implementation and continuous monitoring.
- Manage patient safety by overseeing proper assessment, judicial investigation, treatment protocols, and standardized documentation during patient handovers and follow-ups.
- Develop counseling protocols and coordinate training and development programs for medical and paramedical staff in collaboration with nursing managers to ensure compliance.
- Review and enhance protocols related to patient admission, discharge, shifting, and orientation to different hospital modalities to improve patient comfort and experience.
- Conduct daily medical audit rounds, perform sample audits by reviewing patient files, and carry out patient interviews to assess quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with a valid PMDC license.
- MBA in Healthcare Management.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
