We are seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacy professional with a minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within a clinical setting. This full-time position involves direct patient care through ward rounds, as well as managing various pharmacy operations to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical services. The role requires a commitment to staying current with industry developments and a willingness to work on a rotational shift basis. Candidates should be prepared to commute or relocate to Karachi Clifton as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ward rounds to evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of prescribed medications in accordance with patients’ clinical needs.
- Manage pharmacy operations including the safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of all medications.
- Ensure that medicinal products are stored securely and under conditions that maintain their freshness and potency.
- Provide expert advice to physicians regarding medication selection, dosage, possible drug interactions, and side effects.
- Stay updated with the latest pharmacy techniques and developments by actively participating in relevant training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in pharmacy practice.
- Educational background in Pharm D, MPhil, or MBA.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Karachi Clifton before starting work is preferred.
- The position requires working on a rotational shift basis.
- The role is based on-site and requires in-person attendance.
