Key Responsibilities
Triage Decision-Making:
- Apply standardized triage algorithms and protocols to evaluate patient status.
- Assess the severity and urgency of patients’ conditions within the U.S. healthcare context.
- Prioritize patients based on clinical judgment and established triage criteria.
- Escalate patient conditions to appropriate healthcare stakeholders when necessary.
Patient Assessment:
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical histories prior to scheduling patient calls.
- Identify patient concerns, symptoms, and chief complaints accurately.
- Review doctors’ notes, laboratory results, and medical imaging to inform assessments.
Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with U.S. healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Ensure smooth handoffs and transitions between care providers.
- Demonstrate empathy and maintain strong patient relationships.
Protocols, Guidelines, and Compliance:
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data security in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
Documentation:
- Accurately document patient assessments, triage decisions, actions taken, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications
Education:
- MBBS degree with a completed one-year internship, including at least six months in medicine (preferred).
Experience:
- Prior experience in community clinics is advantageous but not mandatory.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
IT Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
